Vodkaman
If you don't find a solution by any other means, this is the perfect test for my vacu-venting system. http://www.tackleunderground.com/forum/showthread.php?t=11056 Someone's got to try it out, especially after all the whining articles that I have read about difficult pours over the last year. dampeoples
You left out a lot of pertinent details, I assume it's a 2-piece, since you say it's not running. How well is it vented? Have you considered pouring the tails, then closing the mold, and pouring the rest? If all this fails, an injection, or vacuum machine is in order

Delw
vents could be an issue as well as the type of mold it is. some molds have to be heated in order to allow small strings of plastic to roll down. Alum should give you any problems with hand pouring down to 1/16 of an inch maybe a tad bigger if the mold is warm it should be bad. silicone you can pour very small lines and detail with that smaller than 1/16. silicon molds makes plastic flow very nicely. JDBaits
How would you recommend heating an Alum mold of yours del? Im thinking the fastest and best way is to just put it on the hot plate for a bit?
BassnRandy
There is aguy right by me who makes and sells these. He had 2 piece molds made up and pours them by hand. They are excellent in quality. He told me the secret was in the mold venting. They tried several molds till they got the venting right. No injection just pours them like we do our baits. They are an awsome bait if you use plastics for ice fishing.
