It is not an intelligence test and there is no right or wrong results. But you may find the results revealing. I hope not to the extent that you would not post your results.

We seem to be close to the same based on the left brain, but almost polar opposites on right brain.

I am more right-brained than left-brained.

> Left Brain......35%

> Right Brain.....65%

Well this explains everything...

In addition to being known as right-brained, you are also known as a creative thinker who uses feeling and intuition to gather information. You retain this information through the use of images and patterns. You are able to visualize the "whole" picture first, and then work backwards to put the pieces together to create the "whole" picture. Your thought process can appear quite illogical and meandering. The problem-solving techniques that you use involve free association, which is often very innovative and creative. The routes taken to arrive at your conclusions are completely opposite to what a left-brained person would be accustomed.

You are more right-brained than left-brained. The right side of your brain controls the left side of your body. You probably find it easy to express yourself using art, dance, or music. Some occupations usually held by a right-brained person are forest ranger, athlete, beautician, actor/actress, craftsman, and artist.

I hope you have all found this thread as interesting as I have.

The results are surprisingly accurate and pretty much as expected, centre to right sided. Lure design is a very creative and artistically demanding process. The question remains, what the hell am I doing here?

I hope more of you will take the test and publish your results.

Obviously we are giving each other new angles from which to process the slippery creature we know as fishing lure design and implementation!

:yay:

I mean, I would never have thought of giving the board a quiz to differentiate, isolate, and sequence the thought processes of lure designers, in an effort to understand the veritable psychology (or psychosis, as the case may be) which drives the lure design vehicle.

:lol: Personally, it justifies my whittling habit. :teef:

I hope you are not as screwed up as I am! I am hopeless at names. I work in an office of about 30 guys, I probably know ten names, I've been there 8 months. I hope everyone wears name tags at the meet. I suffer mildly from face blindness, a guy in a bar came up and started talking to me about work, turned out he works in the same office, I just did not recognise him. I can remember phone numbers easily though.

I tend to sit and analyse everything that I am going to do, to the n'th degree, before taking any action, sometimes for hours (can get messy if I am drinking lots of beer! joking). It's just embarrassing sometimes, I feel at a slight disadvantage. I used to think that I had just been lazy and not paying attention.

Languages? forget it. I lived in Indonesia and Malaysia for the last ten years, I understand a lot of words, but hope to have a conversation one day!

Yeah, being left brained is great fun! I can kick ass on the pool table though!

I think when it comes right down to it most of the folks on this site are very oriented towards attention to details. In producing what ever each of us makes, the level of importance to different steps, or procedures gets a little intense. And that’s okay by me, people should have a few passions in life, if they don’t, are they really alive?
