Vodkaman
Pete, what do you mean 'it's not rocket science'. It will be, if I get my way!
hazmail
VM - You only want to turn it back into an 'English Wheel', it's nowhere near as advanced as that. pete

hazmail
Thank's Nathan, but this is the problem - it was probably being a bit presumptuous of me, and I did not think of the lathe and who was going to opperate it. If it does happen, I hope it's one of many little tricks we can all use. Thank you again for the offer to 'use all of your tools' ! ! and I look forward to seeing you @ Clinton.pete
Spike-A-Pike
Just a general rule of thumb from my days on the flightline, if someone is giving you instructions or procedures that sound a little odd or crazy, check thier body part count. If they come up short a part or two, find out if it was a result of the crazy procedure they think YOU should use... Murphy's Law, "If your attack is going better than you could have ever dreamed, retreat, you have just walked into an ambush!" Murphy was a grunt Marine... Spike-A-Pike
Great photo. Wow... So I don't have to loose the beard or pony tail before the meet, cool! Phil - I'm afraid it will be too warm for the girls in Clinton in April... They may have to shed all that heavy winter gear so they won't roast. He-he-he! Coley
For you going to Clinton. I you plan to fish, you will enjoy having rubber boots, as it is a little marshy around the ponds in places. Also, a fanny pack or a shoulder bag to carry your baits in while walking around the pond. Rule #1, you can only fish with home made baits, yours or someone elses. K C do you know how to do offset turning??

K C do you know how to do offset turning?? Here's one brit who will/is planning fishing but is a bit limited on how much gear he can bring , I'd love to haul all my tackle across the Atlantic but a second plane would have to follow on behind if I did. Anyone got a spare pair of UK size 10 rubber boots ? philB
