Spike-A-Pike
Robert. I'm not an expert on the Springfield, MO area but it's pretty built around there. Are you thinking of Branson to the south of Springfield near Table Rock Lake? I seem to remember more in the way of bed and breakfasts in that part of the country. KcDano
In addition to what Spike mentions that time of year is Branson's off season. You should be able to negotiate a fair deal. You will have to get off the beaten path to experience the rustic splendor of the Ozarks in a cabin. Hughesy a well respected lure painted and member or TU is from that neck of the woods he might be able to direct you to place you are looking for! beezerbassman
I don't remember the name of the place but it is in gatlinburg,tn it is where we went on our honeymoon and it was great. there phone number is 18006869288. the owners are friendly and the cabins are nice. each one is a log cabin different sizes. and they all have hot tubs. our cabin had a fire place. It was about 15 minutes from gatlinburg so still close but far enough away to get away. As far as Springfield area big cedar lodge in branson is the nicest and you still close to branson about 10 minutes. If you come to the branson area take your wife to branson landing in downtown it is an old english market area with a lot of stores and it even has a bass pro shop ( a small one but still it is a bass pro). Hope it helps you

Hughesy
Big Cedar is the way to go. Check out their website. I guided out of there for 15 years. There is no place around here that compares.
