JDBaits
While searching for another topic I came across a diccusion about sea salt, do any of yas use sea salt or is this a big No-No? Also a buddy of mine is big on using noniodized salt, whats your take on using non-iodized Vs iodized salt?
pastorshane
I tried using sea salt but it seemed to cause bubbles lots. I found out that it is known for causing bubbles. I use non iodine salt in my baits. But I'm not sure it makes any differance. I'm sure one of the experts does though.
BBC
Iodine is just an additive. It shouldn't hurt if you use it in your baits but iodized salt is typically a little cloudier than non-iodized. Eric
bojon
I used sea salt, imported from France, many years ago for dipping tubes. It worked just fine, but I never noticed a bubble problem.I've been wanting to make some tubes with bubble in,so I might try the sea salt again and stir it fast, and see what happen.I heard many years ago not to use salt, with the inoized additive.I never used it,because there is a lot of different salt out there, why take a chance.I have been using LC salt.
