Munkin Posted January 15, 2008 Report Share Posted January 15, 2008 I saw on here where someone was using a silicone with a 1 to 1 mix ratio but I cannot find it with the search? Just started working with silicone to make a 2 piece mold and my mix is off. What I am using now is the purple hobby silicone from one of the links Husky posted. Vodkaman Posted January 15, 2008 Report Share Posted January 15, 2008 If it has wet spots, you have not mixed it enough. I mix mine in a clear plastic cup. With this, I can examine the bottom of the cup to see how the mix is going. Once you think you have thoroughly mixed it, mix it some more.
