pastorshane
the nice thing about the aluminum is it heats up fast and the cup warms quick as well.

pastorshane
thanks, I have a nice pink and purple, and orange and black. I think raspberry and black are next.
Smallie
I divided a cup with plexiglass.I used silicone to fix it.I was warned it would warp from the heat and I admit it is warping at the bottom..However the plastics still do not touch each other. If it starts leaking into each other Ill just change the divider. Braveviper - No need to change the divider - you want to mix the colors in the end and I wouldn't think small leaks would be a problem. Smallie
Nice sticks Shane - I like how they are more like a laminate with the black having finger like droops onto the white. Reminds me of a yellow perch.

Delw
WOW those black and white ones are cool.
pastorshane
thanks Del, whats cool is in some of the baits there is a little gray, in between the colors.
Delw
Thats what I noticed. it looked like the colors blending in perfectly. now if you really want to get tricky try spinning the pouring cup around the mold slowly, it will also give you a wild swirling effect. one of my customers took a sit and spin apart and tooke the bearing cage out. then he made one out of wood. he then marked/drilled the wood with insertable pins that he could push the mold to the center of the hole for all holes by just sliding it. take out one pin slide it to the next etc. the swirls are fantastic looking. I never seen a black and white one, I am betting that would be an awsum bait it resembles shad colors. again nice job.

Delw
nice baits, the blue and black match the Jig nicely pour some jig trailers like that and you will have something no one else has. Have any of you tried your cups in a single sided mold? that would make some Awsum looking flukes, trailers and swimbaits
pastorshane
Very nice dink, I haven't tried the cups on one piece molds yet, but thats coming just got to find time to do it.
MDC
You guys have the swirl colors down! Are ya'll pouring them with heavy salt like you would a 'normal' stick bait?
Dink Master
Yes - 1 cup plastic 1/2 cup salt
pastorshane
yes I use my normal stick formula.
squigster
Wow, a 1/2 cup of salt to 1 cup of plastic? The plastic gotta look like oatmeal. I tried 1/4 cup of salt to 1 cup of plastic and could barely stir it enough to a consistency to dip a tube in let alone pour. Do you add softener to your plastic for you sticks? Does you sticks fall real fast?
MDC
Thanks Dink and Shane Those baits look great
Dink Master
Yes I do use about a 1/4 cup softener. Standard Stik Formula? 1 cup plastic 1/2 cup salt (heat plastic & softener first) 1/4 cup softener
