Bogbaits
Here are some great crappie poppers I made,I made them from foam tubing, cutting it into small pieces and yes, dipping it in plastidip,I added the treble on because I started using a single hook but kept missing the larger crappies and would have them tear the hook out, solution, treble hook, hooking ratio went up and I am catching almost all of the bigger crappies and gills I may ad,these things are awsome for the pan fish and again take minutes to make,I made up about 100 of them in an afternoon, john
mark poulson
John, Do you use a through wire? And, if so, do you orient it at an angle in the beveled face baits to keep the hook low and make the bait float correctly? It looks that way in the picture, but, at my age, I don't trust my glasses any more. )
Bogbaits
Yes,They all have wire through them,Most of them I put the wire through the bottom, some the wire went through the middle and came out the bottom on the hook side, they seem to work the best if I put the wire in the middle, may be just the weight of the hook ,you may have to play with the placement depending on hook size and weight.
