Wo Show
Hello All, I just found this site today..WOW...its great. I'm very interested in making some of my own lures. I've been using a LOT of soft plastics but can't find exactly what I'm looking for for the area's I've been fishing so was thinking about pouring my own. I searched on the web, and here I am. I fish salt and fresh water so I have a bunch of stuff I'd like to make. I'm sure I will have many questions and hopefully some of you will be kind enough to help me out. I've seen some of the posts of some custom stuff and its great. I have a feeling I am going to become addicted to this if it goes like I think it will. Thanks in advance! beezerbassman
Welcome and you will get addicted I had computer problems this week and did not get on the site for 4 days I started to have withdrawals and the shakes. I told my wife that it is almost as bad as fishing fever. On a serious note everyone on here is very helpful and friendly and any questions you have they will answer for you. Spike-A-Pike
Wo Show. Welcome to the fray known a TackleUnderground. I think what your going to find is you come here with a particular interest, in my case, in-line wire lures and that interest grows into more areas as you start to look around. I look at some of the quality of the work done by the artists in the hardbait world and just drool... The work is just that good. The guys making soft plastics have a lot of passion in what they do as well. That whole group has more little tricks to making baits. And some of the colors, amazing. The rod and reel guys can tell you what it takes to build the rod of your dreams and just because you break one, it may not be over just yet... Ask them, a repaor might be possible. If you really want to get the maximum enjoyment out of this site, I would recommend you take some time to really learn your way around. Try the search tool, and after you post, come back look at it, below the "Quick Reply Box", you will normally find about four or five simular threads that may have the information your seeking. Also, take a look through the member submitted tutorials for some good "How To" information. Enjoy and I see you on campus
