A buddy of mine got that card for his Lowrance, and I have the Fishing Hot Spots Elite, and I like mien better, he's indifferent. If it's a Lowrance unit, you can sort of 'test drive' some of the maps if you look under their maps page, they offer free maps for different lakes, including 3 for Alabama, Click Here The lakes with the red star have the most detail, and are most like the Navionics maps, some are even the same. cranker Posted January 23, 2008 Author Report Share Posted January 23, 2008 I have the Lowrance ifinder h20c handheld unit.I have already downloaded the free maps but I noticed rite away that allot of the creeks are not named out,they are there but no name on them to tell you exactly which creek it is.this is why I was wondering if the higher end maps were better,I fish allot of creeks and was hoping to have detailed info on there so I knew how to run the lake to get to a cretain creek or backwater.thank you for the help.I have also sent you a PM.
