tschneid83
Does anyone know an easy way to make a mold so that i can pour some senko type baits. I think i got the salt content down i just need a quick mold. I dont want to buy one. I looked at the tutorials but the silicone seems to take a while and it looks messy. Coley
Do a search for woodsac, I believe he posted in the forum on how to make one from fiberglas resin. Coley
Senkosam
For the new mold maker or for making prototypes, plaster of paris is the way to go. 8 lbs cost 5 bucks and can easily make at least 25 molds. The containers can be anyhting, but I chose to use 3-for-a-buck Al foil baking tins, which are reusable. two part grub mold
the_hide
I'm a $1.00 tupperware container style rip off man myself. I use all sorts of my wifes plastic lunch containers depending on the size of the mold I require.
kidlizard
I like to use a baking sheet when making duplicate molds. You can get several mlds with one pour, and then just cut them apart. Works great.
skeeterdan
I like to take a simi soft container such as tupperware, lay a couple of baits flat on the bottom. Mix up enough bondo to cover the baits. pour the bondo over the baits and spread it level. you may need to drop the container a few times to bring up any bubbles. the bondo will get hot. after it hardens in about 20 minutes filp it over and remove the plastic baits. clean the edges before the bondo cures completly. new mold in about 30 minutes
