b1gf1sh1
as far as the leaking is concerned on the Lee's melting pot... i have this problem now and then and what i do is take a piece of .051 wire from a clipping on a inline spinner, maybe 8''s long, and bend it into a''V'' so theres 2''s of tag and 6''s of standing wire. then i clamp a vice grips on the standing end. then i ...carefully:flame:... put the tag end into the hole and open the plunger up fully and swish and turn and push and pull the wire back and forth inside the hole. sometimes it takes a couple tries but it has worked every time so far. the lead coming out brings the debris clogging the hole out. of course you want something underneath that is large enough to catch any splatters. i use a stainless steel tray about 14'' by 10''s that the pot itself sit's on/in at all times and a muffin pan from goodwill under the spout when i'm cleaning.
