It seems I need to read about 350 on my temp. gun to fill the feet. That is hella hot and I am concerned about fading colors. I was just curious what your thoughts were on this. Also, is the surface temp on the plastic the same all the through the plastic? For example, if the surface reads 350, is the bottom plastic 350 as well? Thanks. Saint. GB GONE Posted January 31, 2008 Report Share Posted January 31, 2008 Saint: I never have check my temps as I go on how the plastic looks and stirs but I am sure I am below 350. In the pot I set my temp on 320 (or there about). As Swamp says, Bob's feet fill real easy as they are vented well. I never had a problem with Del's either. I am doing all mine salt free and I use the regular plastic which is a little thicker in the pot. Doubt you will have any issues at all with either mold, especially after the first couple runs...
