rocnet1
I tried pouring a "Folgers" frog. The plastic was ready to go, but when I poured in the coffee grinds it started bubbling and never would thin back down. It poured thick and looks awful, yet smells stout. Can anyone tell me how to thin it back down to help it pour in the mold better? Thanks, Ryan
saint308
Less cream and sugar? Sorry, I couldn't resist. Wish I could help you. Saint
Smallie
I mixed a 2 0z batch and put 1/4 teaspoon of coffee in it at the same time as my color. Heated it to 300, added glitter and continued to 340. It worked fine. How hot did you get it?
bojon
I put a couple of spoonfuls of coffee grounds into a coffee filter, tied it up with string, then immersed it in canola oil.Let set for a month, then placed in a plastic bottle with a spout.Smells good but I haven't tried it yet.I see no reason it wouldn't work.It should take just a few drops.I havent been dipping, but next sesion I will let you all know. rocnet1
I used two oz plastic and added half teaspoon at 340. Perhaps I should try adding before heating....

plt
I use some coffee oil extract and added them to the finshed product in the bag they had a nice scent, and seemed to last awhile.
TTDuckman
I poured a pack of Bob's 4.2 bugs with coffee instead of glitter and you wouldn't be able to tell the difference unless you knew to look for it. I probably did 4 months ago and they still have the coffee smell. Tim
ominousone
I haven't done this yet, but it sounds like the amount to use is much closer to what you'd use for glitter than what you'd use for salt.
