rocnet1
I am using .062 large glitter from Lurecraft. I add my glitter just before I pour, but the heat curls the glitter. Does anyone else have this problem? Thanks, Ryan
nova
Happens all the time with any large glitter. I just go with it. www.novalures.com
pastorshane
Lure craft, does have some of their large glitter that is metal and does not curl. I use their lg purple for that reason.
Smallie
If it bothers you, you can try to control it by careful monitoring of temperature. I found MF plastic to get to my preferred level of "thinness" at a lower temperature than Calhoun or Lurecraft so I can pour at a lower temp. TTDuckman
I have yet to see metallic glitter curl, not to say it can't, but it appears to be a more stable product than poly flake. The problem with metallic is that if you are pouring a one piece mold, it is difficult to get the glitter to suspend in the bait, rather than collecting at the bottom of the mold. rocnet1
I have been repouring the same plastic over and over. Today was the fourth pour with that glitter and most of it curled back out flat. Go figure! Thanks for the replies, Ryan
