csurp
New guy here. many apologies if this has been covered before. This is my first attempt at pouring baits for my own use. I have made some POP one piece molds for zoom style trick worms and am preparing to order supplies for pouring some. Which "weight" plastic is best to use to duplicate the trick worm action. I see various references to soft, medium, hard etc. A pro angler I once fished with recommended adding plain cooking oil at about 1/3 volume to the plastic as a softener...has anyone tried this? thanks for your patience and any replies to what must be a very basic question to most of you. chuck marion, il

saint308
I use MF super soft with salt to make my worms that sink (trick worms). For my floating worms without salt, I use MF regular. Salt will make any plastic harder. You can also buy softner to put in your plastic. I am not sure about cooking oil, but who knows. Just make sure you wear long sleeves and glasses. Saint.
