Skeeter T
Anybody ever heard of this? A guy I talked to at a tournament said he tore them up with tubes made with ground shad mixed in the plastic. It seems like this would make a smelly rotten mess.He said the company was in Kentucky or Tennessee.Anybody have any thoughts on how this is possible? Tubeman
If it were freeze dried it could be added to plastic. Just as long as there was no moisture.
bojon
Years ago I ground up dehydrated shad.I wanted a white tube with shad in it.It made a nice tube, but took up a tannish cast, and I really didn't notice the tubes catching fish any better. They had a oder but not like shad.Just another thing I tried that didn't work out. COBRA
i have powdered crawfish, same idea as with the shad, its ground dehydrated craw. it works well but does add the tannish coloration and when added to hot plastic it sorta foams, there is absolutely no moisture, it just reacts with the heat. i still use oil based scents. i will have to try the shad maybe some day.
