Could be a lot of reasons for that comment. Health, money problems, etc. One good thing though, your question got me to look at their baits. His widow sold the equipment and supplies to someone else, who found out that balsa crankbait making is very labor intensive. He wanted $25.00 each and the business went down the tubes.
