Spike-A-Pike
Already did and changed it back again two seconds later! Vman. Please tell me your pulling my leg... You already changed your screen setting to 800 x 600 and it flopped back to the old settings or you changed them back to the old settings. I'm beginning to wounder if your computer is possessed by the "dark side".
Vodkaman
NOOO! I just tried it. The icons were like saucers, it scared me, so I changed it back. All you guys still using 600x800, you are really missing out.
KcDano
Better lay off that swill!
Spike-A-Pike
I didn't say I was using 800 x 600, I asked if you were. I like what I get with 1280 x 1024, 19" display, but we were dealing with your "narrow screen" issues, remember. So, you decided to return to the better screen res with screen bounce rather than the 800 x 600 display default set by Jerry "redg8r". Vodkaman
I'm using the full 1440 x 900 on my laptop because I use it for Catia V5 design work. This gives me more space for the drawing, as there are a gizillion icons around the edge. I don't want to be changing screen sizes all the time, so I'll live with it. It's really not a big deal, I just wanted to know why and was there a problem with my setup. I think I'm just subconciously looking for an excuse to buy a new laptop. The ashtrays are full on this one!
Spike-A-Pike
Does it have the latest hot and cold beverage holders, I like to keep my ice tea cold and my coffee hot. Beer of course is best served at 40F +/- 3 degrees. My eyes are to bad to with any smaller (higher) resolution. Grey hair and diabetic retinopathy, getting old stinks
Vodkaman
Try wearing a hearing aid. Great for trawlin' the bars. I tell everyone it's a voice operated, hands free mobile phone. I don't suffer from grey hair any more, shaved them off, hence my e-mail address.
