justinchandler
I have the two part mold from Del-Mart. When my pours start to cool....it causes the plastic to sink in at the top, causing a small hole in the head of my senko. What am I doing wrong? Also, I have tried pouring laminates, and I keep getting the "cold crack". I have tried heating my mold, what else should I do? Thanks! dampeoples
Top the mold off once it starts to sink. Don't wait so long on the laminates to pour the second color.
ottoman
or just over pour the mold ( not much) so it sucks the plastic down.

fishinfool/2
cold cracks/ pour your second color before the first cools all the way. try only one at a time till you get it figured out. i pour bobs split-tail claws and about 30 seconds pour my black to fill mold . works great make sure your plastic is hot. mradamh
Where do I get one of those pots? Only seen smaller types w/out the nozzle. Is that homemade? mradamh
Thanks dp, now I've gotta figure out how to build that mixer set-up. I like pouring with a micro and pyrex, but that system mbroggie has is too nice not to try out...gotta have it.
dampeoples
Can do that with a Lee pot as well, if you do some searches, I've seen some pretty nifty stirrers posted here.
