earthworm77
I kinda hate to ask this question because I've seen a few guys here selling them recently but where are the aluminum swim bait molds coming from? I kind of like Del's Chub E but something is telling me to wait. I'm looking for a Cal Swimbabes Tiny E type bait with a textured body. Are these custom molds? Thanks. squigster
Del sells the swimbait molds for both the Basstrix type minnow and he Chub E which is like a California Swimababe. Call him. I think he took the Basstrix blade molds off becasue everyone wanted one and he could not get anything else done. I think he is going to sell them again. A&H
Those swimbaits look great! Is that a two piece mold? If so, how are you pouring the multiple layers? Excellent work.
millsryno
Tim at swampbaits makes them. I have not done these yet. Here is a link to his site. http://www.swampbaits.com/ He does awesome work. Maybe he can chime in on how they pour...
Smallie
I don't see that mold on Bob's website. It looks like Del's but it is textured on the side.
gunnie3035
It is a two piece mold, but pours from the top. You can see more examples on www.lakextackle.net
