Zib
I had one of those jigs but I can't remember who made them. I'd like to get my hands on a few more. I think they were called something like a "Slip Snake", "Sneaky Snake" or something to that affect. I know that Al Linder used it on one of the old In-Fisherman shows or on one of the bass videos. I have a 3-day weekend this weekend so I'll go through my old In-fisherman bass tapes. I'll let you know if I find anything out.
Whiz Jig
I do not understand the design of this bait. Most of the bait that I have seen that have the tubes to tie throw, were there so the bait would slid up the line so the fish could not use it to throw the bait out of it mouth. The hook on this bait is leaded in. The only thing I see is that the line placement my help keep the bait from hanging up as much. To make this you well need to find an insert for the line and use a T hanger to place it in the mold. You could modify a regular bullet jig mold to do this. Good Luck Whiz Jig
smalljaw
I believe what you have there is a Berkley slip jig, the line goes completely through the head then tied to a split ring and then the spit ring is placed over the hook and snugged up against barbed collar. zx202guy
Thanks for the input guys. whiz jig, from what I understand is that you would put the t-handle insert in, pour jig and pull the t-handle out to leave the l"ine tunnel"? Won' t the lead stick to the insert?
Whiz Jig
You would not have to use a T handle just a piece of wire big enough to fill up your insert or
