loco
anyone notice how adding lure crafts white coloring to your plastic dramatically changes the texture of the plastic ? is it the temperature ? im trying to pour 2 color baits using white and the white seems more boyant then the other colors. not matter where i pour the white.....it it floats right to the top in the mold. strange.... alsworms
I had the same problem with white. Not sure what the deal was, but it wouldn't laminate well and it also seemed to shrink in the molds more than other colors. I replaced it with pearl white. If you are bent on avoiding the pearl effect, you might try just a drop or two of white with a pinch of pearl powder. Seemed to work for me. whitey
It always seemed to pour a bit thicker than other colors for me.
JDBaits
Ive noticed that too and just started using less white liquid coloring when wanting a pure white or i use white pearl powder instead which works out good

Senkosam
The alternative is to use .015 sugar flakes and fine salt in clear. It's not a bright white, but more muted and adds weight when loaded. Both stay suspended in hot plastic.
