Zib Posted February 25, 2008 Report Share Posted February 25, 2008 I'm not sure if the paint would stick to the oxidized lead but I did read somewhere that if you had problems with paint sticking to lead that you should wash it in vinegar. Now with brush style paints YES, I always swish them through vinagar then rinse with water put on paper towels and hit them with a hair dryer.
