charkins
Here is a tutorial on making 2 part molds from POP. The procedure would be basically the same. http://www.tackleunderground.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5393 I made pop prototype jig molds many years ago. The POP would not stand the heat from continous use. (My opinion, others may differ) I have never used water putty for jig molds, but I have made many molds for soft plastic use. I doubt that the water putty would hold up much better than the POP. hope this helps.
kelly
I tryed the water putty and the life was short. But a good way to test an idea before getting a custom mold made.
