PeckBoy Posted March 1, 2008 Report Share Posted March 1, 2008 i was just wondering if anybody could help me out with something....my buddies and i are wondering how you pour multi-colored stiks(rainbow trout) how it is like split down the middle in two diff colors??? we just got into pouring and have had good luck w the stiks in basic colors...but when it comes to more advanced stuff we are stumped.......any help would be great!!!!! thanks guys Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
nova Posted March 2, 2008 Report Share Posted March 2, 2008 Firstly your molds have to be warmed up. You open your molds and lay them out on the table. You pour one color into each cavity of one side of the mold. Then you close the molds; tip them on and angle with the plastic you just poured on the top side. You then pour the second color(quite hot) into the mold. Sounds simple; but it takes practice. If you mess up, just pull the two colors apart before they cure and try again. outdooradvantage Posted March 2, 2008 Report Share Posted March 2, 2008 Nova has it on the nose,but you can also try to have two cups with a different color in each cup and try to pour at the same time,just kinda split it and you will get a good laminate it takes practice but it can be done.
