Fulldraw84
Do any of you guys know were to get some guided cork drill bits? In the mudhole catalog there alittle to spendy for me. Mattman
I assume you mean the Flex Coat ones that are spade bits with a short section of rod on the tip? You can make your own. They sell a kit with the tips and you use your own spade bits. I bought the set of completed bits. Worth every penny.
thedude
i read you can use a grinder to sharpen the backs/top of a paddle bit. Then slide the shaft of the bit through your cork and insert into a drill. Fire up the drill and pull the bit through. I have yet to try it, but i'm pretty dang close. Matt - where did you find the kit?

I bought my fully competed set of bits from Bingham Enterprises.
HookUp
I bought mine by the piece to ease the pain of the price. For the size rods I build, all I need was three. If I get into bigger rods its jsut another $15-
