docirv
Okay, I followed Pop's advice. (Anybody know what happened to Pop? Sure hope he is okay). I called Al Prestileo of Harvey salt in the Baltimore, MD, area. I will be going down there today or tomorrow to buy some of the Alberger Salt and to check out other types. Any of you interested in getting some of this let me know now so I can get enough of it for each of us. I will let you know what it costs for shipping and the salt which is not very expensive at all. Ryno Plastics
I'm definetely interested! In fact, I've been trying to get some info. concerning Alberger salt for months now. If you don't mind, let me know how much dough you need. I'll be glad to send you some cash via PayPal or whichever method you prefer. Thanks for the offer! docirv
How much do you think you would like to have? I will know pricing better tomorrow. I plan on heading there after my Rotary club meeting in the morning.
Ryno Plastics
I would say at least a few pounds. My only concern is the shipping costs but I think it's worth it. Thanks again for the offer. Let me know what you find out. Ryan
docirv
I have the alberger salt in a very fine flake, almost like flour. It is cheap but the shipping, well that is not cheap. You can figure out the shipping cost from my zip code, 19380, to yours. It would be a nominal 40 cents a pound. Let me know how much you want if you want to do this. I have 240 pounds of the stuff! Ryno Plastics
I went to ups.com and did some estimating: I typed in a weight of 10 lbs. and a box dimension of 12x6x6 in. and an insured value of USD 4.00. The shipping total came out to be about 10 bucks. I wouldn't mind forkin' up 10 bucks or so for 10 pounds of salt. Ae you sure you don't mind packing the stuff up and sending it my why? I don't want to inconvenience you Ryan
docirv
Not a problem to send you some salt. It cost me about $12.50 per 80 pound bag not counting time and travel. I figure it as a good deed to send you some if you pay the shipping. Give me you mailing address and I will get it off to you. I'll just fill up a large plastic freezer zip lock bag, that should be close to 10 pounds or so.
docirv
Sorry for not getting the salt to you before but I was pretty sick with the flu or something for a couple of weeks. Get me your address and I will get the salt to you.
