Angler310
Working on different variations of blending colors while pouring, i accidently knocked over my mold. look what I ended up with.. What do you think? http://s60.photobucket.com/albums/h1/angler310/?action=view¤t=bluepocketcraw.jpg" The craw stands straight up on a 1/4 oz stand up jig. It's all air no additives. nova
That looks really cool. There's only one thing wrong though. How are you going to repeat it? www.novalures.com
Angler310
Nova That particular picture was the intentional repeat. the hard part is sealing it off. I've figured that out as well. Mike
MONKEYqpHUNTER
wouldnt the bait do just the same witout the troubles of the air pocket being the plastic floats?????
Angler310
good point. it would depend on the plastic. eventually the plastic will settle and lay down. With the air pockets traped, the bait immediately comes to attention and remains standing. I am in the process of working with these as I write. It is also quite considerably lighter and requires weight. Unfortunetly living in Maine, the baits don't work well on Ice and snow. My bath tub would be my next choice of experimentation. The glass of water I used to take the pictures is what really sparked my interest. keep the opinions coming. Pro or Con I would like your opinion. thanks Mike
nova
If you are able to repeat the process, that's great. Now I think you're onto something. That certainly would be some of the highest floating jig critters out there. Good on you. www.novalures.com
Spike-A-Pike
Angler310. Not to hijack this thread, but I saw the photo post at the top of this post and wanted to assist a little. If you read the "Posting Rules" at the bottom left of this page, you'll see: vB code is On Smiles are On http:// www.someplace.xxx[/img. I did not close the final /IMG] bracket for the sample because it would have tried to post a picture from "someplace". Replace [/img. with ' alt='img. with '> and it will place the picture in your post.

Angler310
Ebby, If I stck a fish and lose the lure, so be it. I'd rather lose one of the ones I made as apposed to one I overpaid money for.
