Mags
Do any of you guys make a bait like this? I've seen some similar, but more like a minnow and not a sunfish. I am looking for a sunfish shape to drop shot under docks. http://www.tacklewarehouse.com/descpageSWMBSSTRX-BTB.html Steve
squigster
I can make the bait but I paint like a 3 year old. I can send you a few pics later this weekend to see what you think but they will be solid colors or clear with flake with some pearl backs and bellys with holographic eyes. Let me know. Mags
Send me a few pics. I'd be interested in what you have. Other than Basstrix that shape of bait is not out there for sale and Basstrix are about impossible to get. Steve

Smallie
Are they hollow like the Basstrix paddletail minnows?
Mags
I have never held one in my hands, but yes I believe they are hollow. I have some of the Kamakazee Minnrs and they are hollow like a tube with a cut tail. His bait is beautiful, but not in a sunfish shape. They are shaped like a minnow. A sunfish shaped bait in the post-spawn around docks should be a good one. Steve
Delw
yes they are hollow, the shape of the knife to dip them is almost exactly like the bait itself. 2 dips in semi warm plastic and your done
gofish, ill
ive been trying to figure out how to make a gizzard shad for the same kind of thing.was leaning towards casting a jighead out of foam with the dropper running thru it and solid bodies?never thought of making it hollow.
