Polecat
I thought I had read about using PVC as opposed to Balsa. Can't find that thread. I have seen "Vinyl" molding by Royal in Home Depot. This looks like some form of PVC. It appears to be very light and workable (sandable, drillable and easy to paint). Is this material as buoyant as Balsa? More or Less? Wondering if it would work the same...
mark poulson
What I remember reading is some kind of polyurethane decking from Lowe's. Sorry, I don't remember the name.
Vodkaman
http://www.tackleunderground.com/forum/showthread.php?t=12206&highlight=decking This thread is only a couple of weeks old and might help. I do remember a post from months ago, but cannot think of the right search words to find it, as the search function requires at least four characters for the search.
