JSC
Well I had these oatmeal boxes around have been saving them to put stuff in .. then I got this bright idea. I let Plastics set in a beer flat & have been using beer flats for storage. .. So I cut the oatmeal boxes in half .. stapled them together .... and this is what I have come up with ... will hold over 200 .. 6 inch worms. Nests fairly well and easy to store.... Maybe this will help some one. Attached Pixes. JSC
Uncleskippy
Great idea. Keeps them straight. Do you seal the oatmeal containers?
Florida Don
I have "tested" many beers in my time, but I don't know what a beer flat is. Please explain.
Richard Prager
I believe it's the cardboard box that a case sits in. Do they still sell ABC Beer and Ale up your way?

JSC
Unc Skippey Have not gotten around to sealing any of them but should be a snap with saran wrap. Fl Don ... That much beer and not knowing a Beer Flat ?? =:^) ... Yep they are the boxes they come in .. could not operate with out them. Fact is I gotta go see if I can scrounge up a few more. nova
Instead of using saran wrap on the oatmeal boxes; how about using the Elmer's glue wash a couple of coats? Seems to me that plastic wrap could cause wrinkle marks in the warm worms. Try saying "warm worms" 10 times fast; lol. www.novalures.com
JSC
Nova .. I let them cool off in the Beer Flat then put them in the oatmeal boxes ... I think the saran wrap would be ok after cooling off. .... I am going to try the Elmer's glue ... should help seal the deal. Cant do that "Warm Worms" 10 times .... Perhaps it is because my wife just brings them to me - Except when she is too busy cleaning the fish! Good thing she doesn't read this forum. I saw an ad once a long time ago. It was in the "Personal" section, from a man looking for a woman. It stated that the woman must love the outdoors and fishing. Then, it said, "please send picture of boat". Was that your ad, Don?
