raidergrad
Been pouring with Calhoun Medium Plastic and am having trouble with the larger glitter falling to the bottom side of the bait AFTER I pour them. I stir well and make sure it is spread out and suspended when I pour. Is it just too hot? I find that I pour a lot neater edges, etc with hotter (thinner) plastic. nova
A little cooler plastic should solve the problem. www.novalures.com
Smallie
I find that getting the temperature "just right" is easiest with a infra-red thermometer. Some of the guys on this site can do it by eye and while I can see the changes in the plastic at different temperatures, my quality and consistency improved when I bought the thermometer. Senkosam
.062 and especially .090 should suspend easily. At 300 or less I never see flake settling.
