bavnuts88
Who makes the best premade spinnerbait wires out there? I have a couple ideas and dont wanna buy all the stuff to make them myself, just to find out it doesnt work. I was thinkin Do-it molds. They have the jigheads I like. Any help would be great Daniel
Spike-A-Pike
I would think you might want to go to a few of the online suppliers and see what level of finish you're looking for. Stamina, Barlows, Jans Lurecraft, Lurecraft, Moore's will all carry something like that. I know Stamina has it all, painted or unpainted, in pairs or assortment packs. danderson
By spinnerbait wires I assume you mean spinnerbait forms. My suggestion is bend them yourself. The premade forms look nide and are the same everytime, but get in the way when you pour the lead. I like to keep my wire straight until after I pout and paint, that way it is never back over the head and in my way. I like .031" because it is big enough to handle big fish if you close the eye, but small enough for good vibration. How many of you are singing a song in your head right now? Also most people don't close the eye because it can be kida tough sometimes but after you learn a few tricks it's not so hard and it save a lot of hassle when you're fishing. Especially if you use a snap instead of tying right on to the bait. Some of this is obviously opinions so take it or leave it. I've made a bunch though. You'll also learn a bunch from this site.
