CSG
Not a question, just kind of a poll. I am just wondering what you guys use as the primer coat on repaints. I will start. I use createx opaque white.
MuskyGary
Depends if I want dark scale outlines or light outlines. Usually white, gold or a shade of black. (createx)

rlcam
Right now all I am doing is repaints and I use rattle cans and use Krylon Fusion white. Then I start with the color I want under the scales or the belly to be.If I want the belly to be white I just use the already applied Fusion for it.I think some guys that airbrush also use the Fusion, because it will adhere very well to most surfaces. The Fusion comes in different colors also...Robert

CSG
Can you heat set the Kryon Fusion with a hair dryer? What is the approximate cost of a can? Thanks. I like to know other alternatives.

I like to know other alternatives. I think I pay around $3 or $4 dollars for a can. As for heat setting it, I've never tried. It dries in about 12 minutes and can be painted over after about an hour or so. I usually primer and wait a few hours before I paint or maybe even the next day.
