MDC
I think Zoom's is clear plastic with copper, gold, and black flake. Your flake may bleed a little and color the plastic too

bryanmc
D@mn... Pinheads and quarter smidges!!! You'd have to mix a gallon to get measureable quantities LOL!
JDBaits
1 cup of plastic will give ya messrable quantities lol, i just test colors in small batches then just multiply
bassn1
Your killin' me here. I like the color but how do you get 1/2 or 1/4 of a drop????
JDBaits
I mix hot plastic with a meat thermometer then sit the tip on a spoon. While the plastics still hot on the thermometer ill squeeze a drop out and let it run down the spout, when the drop is about 1/2 or 1/4 full ill let it touch the thermometer then remix my plastic with it. Its not a very scientific method and I'm pretty sure 1/4 drop wont make a whole lot of difference when your mixing larger batches of plastic but when your only doing 1Oz batches it could make of break your color. Smallie
Here is a pic in the sunlight, now im really pleased how this color turned out I think the pearlescense takes you away from the Zoom sand color - at least the packages I have thrown. You might want to try a batch without it.
One Sock
one of my favorite colors for fishing brush hogs. but it's more of a clear bait. I had a recipie for it somewhere, but am out of state right now so when I get back I'll dig it up for you
