JDBaits Posted March 21, 2008 Author Report Share Posted March 21, 2008 I mix hot plastic with a meat thermometer then sit the tip on a spoon. While the plastics still hot on the thermometer ill squeeze a drop out and let it run down the spout, when the drop is about 1/2 or 1/4 full ill let it touch the thermometer then remix my plastic with it. Its not a very scientific method and I'm pretty sure 1/4 drop wont make a whole lot of difference when your mixing larger batches of plastic but when your only doing 1Oz batches it could make of break your color.
