reefaddiction
Hello all: I was wondering does anyone know of a good more reasonable supplier to purchase RTV from other then worm and plastic companies. I have done a search on online and found a few and they are cheaper. I will call them on monday, but in the mean time I thought I would just ask? Thanks

bassnfool
Smooth On is the best. OOMOO-25 is a 50/50 mix, easy to mix, ample time to pour and makes a great mold.

Smallie
Smooth-On's Oomoo 25 is the best for my money.
Senkosam
I've been looking for a good silicone and source. Some lure reproductions just have to be done in RV. Thanks guys (RA for posting the question!!)
BBC
My vote is for Smooth-on. I've tried others but Smooth-on's Oomoo RTV was the easiest to use and picked up the best detail. Eric
Bassking24
Check out Eager Polymers in Chicago. I think their website is eagerplastics.com . I'm sure you can find them doing a search. I buy their 1 gallon RTV1000 kit (10 lbs, I think) for $120, which includes shipping to me in Indiana. I think the price is $107.60 + shipping. This is the same blue activator RTV you can buy from LC and I'm sure others, but ALOT cheaper!
fishercraft
You might also try RTV silicone rubber compounds, catalyst addition cure and condensation cure silicone, tin catalyzed silicone, platinum catalyzed silicone, Silicones Inc. in South Carolina. Their price for a gallon of platinum-cure RTV (best for longevity and high heat) in P-20 formula (20 is the durometer) was quoted to me recently at $105.00 not including shipping. Call 336-886-5018 for ordering and pricing as they don't show this on their website. Gary in the technical department was very helpful.
