b75nweav
I got some krylon crystal clear spray yesterday to spray over my signatures. They've been running lately no matter how long I let them dry. Sharpie on top of createx. Used the crystal clear acrylic spray this morning at 7am. Just topcoated with 2ton 8.30pm and didn't look like the epoxy was spreading like normal. Saw alot of dry streaks on the lures and I would try and brush over and they would come back. Looks like I might have to recoat. Will know tomorrow. Any ideas.........?
Striperknight
Use createx clear over your signature.
Lure--Prof
I've been doing what StriperKnight suggests for years. Be sure to heatset your createx and & Createx clear, no matter what Createx says on the bottle about permanence when dry!! You can let Createx sit a month, or six, and it is not the same as heat setting!!! !!!! Dean !!! !!
b75nweav
I've seen the clear a hundred times and never thought of that. Thanks.......!
woodieb8
try using pilot paint marker from a office supply. it contains no xylene and i use circa or e tex with no runs at all.
BobP
Another option: If you want a more permanent solution, buy a fine tip caligrapher's pen for less than $5 at a craft store and dip it in Createx black for your signature. A caligrapher's pen looks like the metal tip part of a fountain pen, mounted in a plastic handle. Added benefit, it makes a finer line than an ultrasharp Sharpie.
