pikester
As far as the difference in older models produced in different countries I'm not sure but I can say that some of the newer models , specifically the 3.5" Hot Chub Tail Dancer produced in Ireland have some durability issues. My buddy swears by this particular size & colour since the big pike in our favourite lake have an affinity for that pattern; problem is he's lost at least three nice pike as well as a couple smaller fish when the diving lip has popped off the bait thereby leaving him attached to nothing but a diving lip as his trophy pike swims off!!! This is by no means a slander against the Irish, God knows March 17 is one of my favourite days of the year! I believe this happens because the wire which forms the line tie does not project into the body on these particular units. Has anyone else had this happen?
