printfish
I have recently started pouring my own bullet weedless and the flat-eye Arkie. I need to find the absolutely the strongest chemically sharpen hooks i can get. I will be swimming and flipping around really heavy cover. Also i was wonder how hard it would be to re-do the 1/4 oz cavaty in my bullet mold to hold a 5/0 hook and maybe even a flat-eye. thank you in advance. printfish
mikel7@mac.com
You will need a drimel. I got the one that came with a box of drill bits and atachments. I had to grind the bottom of my bullet mold for larger hooks very easy job. I think i had to reem out the hook holding area also for the heavy hooks. I think gammy hooks are as good as any but i also use heavy eagle claw they are a lot cheaper and i have no complaints on my part while using them.
