saint308
That looks good. Is that Bob's mold? How do you pour a different color belly in his mold? Thanks. Saint.
pastorshane
Very nice, how big is that swim?
captsully18
Really nice! Like Saint, I would like to know how you got a two color pour into a two piece mold. Would you share? Thanks David
earthworm77
I think that looks fine. I usually add a streak of pearl to the belly but I don't think you need to.
nova
I think that looks fine. I usually add a streak of pearl to the belly but I don't think you need to. Exactly what I was going to say. A slight touch of white pearl on the belly would make that bait hum. Nova Lures

Angler310
Thanks for the response guys. The Mold is Bobs 2 piece 4" swim bait. I've been wanting to come up with a variety of different thing to do with this thing so that I can add them to my color chart. It is a 2 part pour that requires timing. I pour the tail to what I think to be 2/3 of the mold with very runny plastic. ( it needs to be very hot) I then Immediately pour out access platic over the back of the bait, set the mold down back side down to let it somewhat set. You will need just a few seconds. When you pour the first color keep the mold tipped towards the back of the bait to keep the plastic off the belly. Pour the second color in the mold, again the plastic must be extremely hot. Do the same with the the second cavity. I'll post more pics of different colors with eyes. Sorry That secret is mine to keep. Guys, this is a very frustrating pouring process. if it is not done with patients and very hot plastic you will get air pockets in the baits. If you using the baits for yourself that may not be a bad thing, More action. thanks Angler310

longhorn
Good Job! Those baits look awesome. I don't have that kind of patience.
rixon529
I believe that silver blue back would work for stripers if it's not in supersoft plastic. Great job, Angler. Keep up the good work.

captsully18
Angler, those are great. Do you have the patience of Job, or do the cooooold winters in Maine slow you down enough to pour them. Like 'em David
Angler310
Pouring is one of the few things that I have patients for. Fishing and my wife are close. I hate winter. It's snowing here today as I key this message. I waxed up my Nitro929 yesterday afternoon in hope of getting in the water next week. what a joke!! thanks for the reply. captsully18
We don't have the snow and ice, but we're gettin' a ton of rain. Everything here is high and muddy. Keep that Nitro shinnin' and you'll get it out soon. David ps: Is that you in your avatar? And you told Longhorn HE was ugly? You will notice I do not use an avatar, there is a reason I won't show MY ugly mug.
Angler310
Ain't it the truth..once slim and handsome, now old and ugly we hide ourselves in our caves pouring baits awaiting mother nature to make up her freekin mind wether to let us out or keep us cooped up. I so envy the guys in the deep south.
