Still enjoying going through the site and seeing all the things that you're doing with custom lures and techniques. I could (and probably will) sit on and just go back reading various topics for hours on end. In the Gallery I found this jig head. Posted by the Old Man in the Boat. http://www.tackleunderground.com/photos/index.php?n=1502 I think this is another style jighead that if I used it with particular lures, it would be a great shallow water redfish combination. How many of you make these jig heads? Rather than going and buying this particular mold I was just wondering if some horse trading could be arranged? They come thru the weeds cleaner than a spinner bait and the profile can be changed with grub changes. The 1/4 and 3/8 sizes seem to be the prefered ones. Old man in the boat Posted March 30, 2008 Report Share Posted March 30, 2008 1/8 is the smallest that I can make and get a skirt colar and weedgaurd in. I have had some people cut the skirt colar off and use it with out. If that is the plan then it's best to let me know so I can leave out the grub keeper (which makes it a pain to cut off the colar).
