northbassman
When I drill my holes for the weight what do you use to fill them in to level with the rest of the bait. A dowel rod or just fill it level with some epoxy? Thanks again guys,
Big Splash
Epoxy works for me. Some guys use wood fillers, or dowel.
joe32
I like to use automotive body filler. It goes rock hard in a few minutes and is very light.Because it is a two part paste and hardner I acn also adjust it for temperature even in the cold I can get it to dry and go rock hard in 5 minutes by adding a bit more hardner. lurecarver23
I use Elmers Wood filler it is pretty cheap and it can be sanded very smooth. You can find it at stores like Menards, Home Depot and so on.
Coley
Depending on the wood. Hardwood I use DAP, Dry-Dex spackling. It goes on pink and turns white when ready to sand. Balsa, I use Northeast Hobby Products, Micro-fill. Its the lightest filler I have ever seen, same color and sands like balsa. Coley
