IamSpartacus
I finally caught my first fish (along with my second and third) on one of my homemade hardbaits. Among the three was my personal best largemouth at 5# 6oz. Although I'm a cocky person by nature I will grudgingly point out that my success was due in part, well in large part, to all the advice and knowledge coming from you guys. Thanks a lot for all your help! Heres some pictures. Mike (The fish were caught in order of size smallest to largest) Edited April 8, 2008 by IamSpartacus
MTfishingrods
Hey Great Job!!!!! And Who the Heck cares if your cocky about it! You have every right to be proud. Tell me how many fishermen do what we do. And then show me haw many do the kind of quality work that is done on this site. If you can do it or even try to achiev it your going to be among the elite. captsully18
With fish like those and baits like that one, you can afford to be a little cocky. Nicely done. David
IamSpartacus
Thanks for all the kind words guys! The fish definitely made up for the time and money I have poured into this hobby. I just can't wait for all the seasons to open up. Thanks again Mike
LaPala
LOL You misguided me with the tittle of you topic. For a moment I thought, someone caught a wahoo or showing a wahoo plug there. Anyway good show, it's always the most satisfying when you hook one on ur very own. You'll know you need to go to a support group -- when you fish, you are actually more interested in testing out the lures you have just finished making.
