redg8r
This topic has been covered, but it looks like it was lost. Calhoun makes (or made) a formula to mimic the 3x plastic, but it's not very user friendly at all. It usually cannot be reheated, the temperature required isn't the normal temperature used for handpours, viscosity is different & most people know that the 3x type of plastic doesn't play well with any other plastics. Del @ del-mart.com is the person to ask, he knows much more about it. I'm not sure he ever distributed it or not. (I should know that though, sorry Del.) Reds correct its not very friendly and extreamly expensive. Last time I got a quote on 1 gal its was around 120-150 per gallon min order is 55gal. and it took 6-10 weeks to be shipped. you also have to use powdered pigments for colorants, standard colors can not be used nor softener. To be honest its not justifibly worth buying Thanks Jerry, Hey red when you get a chance shoot me an email with that stuff on it that you sent last month. I lost every email from 2002 at the begining of this month. Delw
