Spike-A-Pike
Welcome aboard Matt... I just wanted to add that you'll want to use the search function a little to get the correct process for finishing your lures. Some of the Hardbait experts can really help you get this figured out; the steps are something like sealing the wood, primer coat, adding color and pattern, and an epoxy cover coat. You'll want to protect the wood with an unbroken epoxy coat that keeps the water out. Again, good luck.

hazmail
Just like 'Spike' said WELCOME, but, please don't see everything as 'correct', we need ideas here, and anything radical, is food for thought- Search it out and improve on it, looking forward to your input. pete
