Hello!

Hi,

I'm John, 25, from Alameda, CA (SF Bay Area). First off, thanks to all of you for the wealth of info on this site. I appreciate your willingness to share.

Before stumbling upon this site a little over a week ago I had no plans whatsoever on making my own lures. But, the site and the lures posted in the gallery are just so awesome, i just had to give it a shot. so i've started on my first one...we'll see how that turns out.

I'v only started fishing a few years ago while i was a student at cal. I like to fish for (and catch) striped bass and halibut in the bay, and bass, crappie and trout in the local lakes and reservoirs.

anyhow, most my city sliker friends just can't get excited over this kind of stuff, so i'm really glad i've found this site and the folks who post on it.

I just joined,,,I just found out about the web site and it looks cool so far. I have hundreds and hundreds of soft plastic baits, stick baits frogs anything you want, spinner baits, buzz bait parts for sale. Is there a place here for that?

What you'll find here is mostly different types of tacklemakers sharing ideas and information on how to build better lures. For the most part, those who sell their baits are allowed to post a URL to their website in their signatures when they post, any thing more than that, you'd need to buy space for a Classified Ad or buy advertising space. For more info on classifieds and advertising, contact redg8r (aka: Jerry) for more details.

Good luck and welcome aboard.
