capecodsmallie
Does anyone know of a good 5-6 inch sand eel mold for saltwater? Also looking for a good nightcrawler for saltwater. Thanks.
BumBaits
Are you referring to Norton's Sand Eel bait ? If so you are probably best off creating a resin or plaster mold of your own. I fish all over the Texas coast and frequent the Rockport area throughout the year and have spoken personally with the creator of the Norton Sand Eel and it appears they have a patent on the Norton Sand Eel design. Which means most places like LureCraft and the like can't make it. HOWEVER, I don't think that doesn't stop you from creating a personal mold for your own personal use, as long as you don't try to sell it as your own. You can also check out Lurecraft www.lurecraft.com and Delw molds at www.del-mart.com . Both have great patterns that make awesome saltwater baits. I personally would go with Delw's 6ba mold. They make great baits, and most of all THEY CATCH FISH ! Sorry for the long winded post
