The Dutchman
I know this topic was visited before but at the time no one actually bought, made, and used this swimbait. Has anyone bought it and used it? If so, How does it swim?
MONKEYqpHUNTER
dutch i guess no one has tried it. may be a hot one being not many seem to be pouring it.
King Bait Co.
I checked it out today it looks like a Berkley leech kind of with a swimbait tail on it. To me it looks like it was made to be drifted or as a trailer with that dimple in the head.
rixon529
Kinda looks like the bait is lying on its right side and the camera view is sorta looking at it from the belly side. If thats the case, then the "dimple" would be the eye socket. Maybe?

Smallie
Empire - can you post a clear picture of a bait just out of the mold?
The Dutchman
Empire 247, Are you using a weighted hook or a jig to swim that lure? Thanks
empire247
dutchman, sorry i didnt get back sooner to reply i have been busy the past week and havent had a chance to get online. i will try to get you a pic this week. i use a 5/0 ewg hook with a hitchhiker ( small cork screw atached to eye of hook) to throw the bait, then add a weight to the shank of the hook (1/16 - 1/4oz.) i buy both the hook and hitchhiker from lurecraft.here are the item numbers for the hooks. 5/0 hook - 6x768 hitchhiker- 3x961b if your looking to buy a swimbait mold also check out lurecrafts new aluminum 4" swimbait, that is the best swimbait mold i have seen. they came up with a little invention on it so you have the option to pour either a solid bait or a bait with a hook slot in it. brett
